She has handled cases involving claims of age, disability, race, religious, sexual orientation, and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliatory discharge, False Claims Act, wage and hour, trade secret, non-compete/restrictive covenant, and employee/independent contractor classification issues. She has broad experience dealing with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois and U.S. Departments of Labor, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, as well as other state and local labor and employment agencies. In addition to her employment law practice, Ms. Albarello frequently represents parties in commercial law and litigation matters. Ms. Albarello also routinely counsels clients on a variety of employment practices, including employment contracts, employee handbooks and policies, and workforce reductions. She conducts employee training seminars, workplace harassment investigations, and frequently speaks on employment-related topics. Ms. Albarello attended IIT Chicago-Kent School of Law (J.D., 1984), where she was a member of the law review and graduated with high honors.
