Peter M. Follenweider
Peter M. Follenweider joined Di Monte & Lizak in 2012 after graduating magna cum laude from John Marshall Law School. Previous to law school Peter graduated from North Central College in 1990 and earned a Master Degree in Education from St. Xavier University and spent 15 years teaching English in public high schools. Peter is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, The Minority Contractors Association and the Associated Builders and Contracts group.
Peter focuses his practice on representing both individuals and corporations in litigation matters involving construction law, employment law, mechanic’s liens, collection actions, tenant and landlord rights, and defending tollway violations. Additionally, Peter represents many of his corporate clients in union audits, local, city, state and national governing bodies’ inquiries and other licensing issues.
In his years as an attorney, Peter has drafted construction contracts, forbearance agreements, reconciliation agreements, leases and commercial real estate purchase contracts. Peter has also represented his clients in all manner of court hearing from trials to settlement conferences to arguing motions in front of the court.
