Richard W. Laubenstein has developed his practice to assist clients with all of their real estate needs. He was engaged by one of Chicago’s premiere real estate companies to offer classes on how to handle residential real estate transactions following the housing bubble in 2007, he has been quoted in North Shore Magazine regarding short sales, and most recently has offered seminars to real estate brokers regarding compliance with the new Federal regulations affecting residential loans. In the event of a dispute, Richard is a seasoned trial attorney with both bench and jury experience in the areas of mortgage foreclosure; landlord tenant disputes; construction disputes; contract disputes; and mechanics’ liens. In 2013, Richard received an award from the U.S. District Court and the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for excellence in Pro Bono Services. He received his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from Concordia College, River Forest Illinois in 1983 and his law degree with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1986 and has been part of the DiMonte & Lizak team since 1986.
