Thomas J. Cassady
Thomas J. Cassady (“Tom”) focuses on representing financial institutions and private equity creditors in workouts, foreclosures, lender liability defense, collections and enforcements of judgments, as well as representing businesses and individuals in a wide variety of business litigation and eminent domain actions, quiet title actions, mechanics lien disputes, and appeals. Tom is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Tom has successfully obtained a six-million-dollar judgment in favor of one of the largest national banks, and has succeeded in several notable appellate decisions in favor of financial institutions. Tom has negotiated and drafted loan modifications, settlement agreements, and other complex agreements. He has represented clients at every stage of litigation, including arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, defending against counterclaims, attending mediations and settlement conferences, and has both trial and appellate experience. Tom is licensed to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin, and in a number of federal courts.
